Yaroslav Sudakov, a war refugee from Ukraine, now lives in Volda after escaping the Russian invasion. At a recent International Café gathering, he shared his story in Russian, explaining his decision to flee instead of fight. After losing two close friends to the war, Yaroslav chose to seek safety.
– I came here not to fight the war, but to save my life and my family, he said.
